VOLUNTEER

If you’ve been to our little utopia, you know that it is an amazingly groovy place that is absolutely dripping with potential. While some of that potential has been realized by our hard-working collective members, SO much more could be accomplished with some outside help. These are the things for which we hope to find some talented volunteers:

• Gardeners or teens with green thumbs! – We currently have some amazing people volunteering in this area, but we’d like to step it up and take our large front yard to the next level.

• Electrician – We have an old lit-from-within sign that we would love to get up and running but we need the help of a kind electrician.

• Lawyer – we would like to make our non-profit status official and protect ourselves against the potential liability issues associated with running a place like ours. Even a small donation of time would be greatly appreciated.

• Promotion – Everything from posting shows on the website, distributing flyers around town, bringing in quality acts…. WE NEED YOU.

• Construction – We would like to fix up the house which is suffering, externally because of the lack of paint and, in turn, the elements wreaking havoc on it.  Do you have some basic carpentry skills and a little extra time to help a good cause?

• Video or Web expert – We would like to start broadcasting live web-casts of the shows at HM157. Is this your forte? Maybe we can do something for you in return…

There are numerous other areas in which we could use help. If there is something you think you can add to the mix, please let us know. We are totally open to teenagers looking to get some work experience and a reference to help get their first real job. We are a fun and caring group of people and cool to work with. There will be perks – get into great shows for FREE!!!
